Warriors Gaming Squad Acquires Jeremy “Seese” Seese

SAN FRANCISCO – Warriors Gaming Squad (WGS), the NBA 2K League affiliate team of the Golden State Warriors, have acquired Jeremy “Seese” Seese from Cavs Legion GC along with a 2024 second round pick. In the deal, Warriors Gaming Squad sends Veron “YooVc” Coates and a 2024 first round pick to Cavs Legion GC.

Seese averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game at PF in 5v5 play last season and shot 53.7% from the three-point line. Originally from Coatesville, Penn., Seese was drafted 38th overall by Lakers Gaming in 2021. In 2022, he was named NBA 2K League Most Improved Player and earned a spot on the All-2K League Second Team. Seese has spent the past two seasons competing with Bucks Gaming and Cavs Legion GC and won the NBA 2K League 5v5 Championship with Bucks Gaming in 2022. Seese will compete as a power forward with Warriors Gaming Squad.

Coates averaged 18.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game at C in 5v5 play last season. A native of Queens, N.Y., Coates was drafted 3rd overall by Warriors Gaming Squad in the 2021 NBA 2K League Draft and posted averages of 17.4 points and 9.9 rebounds per game during his rookie campaign that same year.

Founded in 2018, Warriors Gaming Squad is the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. WGS earned their first-ever NBA 2K League Finals berth in 2020 and in 2019 became the first team in league history to win multiple tournaments in the same season.
