Warriors Gaming Squad Acquires Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser As Part of Three-Team Trade

SAN FRANCISCO – Warriors Gaming Squad (WGS), the NBA 2K League affiliate team of the 2022 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors, has acquired Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser from Kings Guard Gaming and has sent Antoine “ANTOINE” Featherstone to Cavs Legion GC as part of a three-team trade.
Nasser is averaging 21.4 points and 10 assists per game in 5v5 play this season and is the NBA 2K League’s all-time career leader in points (4,569), assists (1,684) and games played by a point guard (168). A Bay Area native from San Bruno, Nasser was originally drafted 29th overall by Blazer5 Gaming in 2018 and was named NBA 2K League MVP in 2019 after being named a finalist for the award during his rookie campaign in 2018. Nasser has spent the past two seasons competing with Kings Guard Gaming. Nasser, who has been competing as point guard, will transition to shooting guard with Warriors Gaming Squad.
Featherstone has averaged 12.6 points and 3.7 assists per game in 5v5 play this season. A native of Maryland, Featherstone was drafted 13th overall by Warriors Gaming Squad in the 2021 NBA 2K League Draft and posted averages of 13.4 points and 4.6 assists per game during his rookie campaign that same year.
Founded in 2018, Warriors Gaming Squad is the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. WGS earned their first-ever NBA 2K League Finals berth in 2020 and in 2019 became the first team in league history to win multiple tournaments in the same season.
