Warriors Gaming Squad Announces 2019 Regular Season Schedule

OAKLAND, Calif. – Warriors Gaming Squad (WGS), the NBA 2K League affiliate team of the Golden State Warriors, will tip off its first regular season game of the NBA 2K League during THE TIPOFF Tournament on April 4 at 2:00 p.m. (PT) against Pacers Gaming. All regular season games will take place at the NBA 2K League Studio Powered by Intel in Long Island City, New York, and will be livestreamed on the league’s Twitch channel.
The NBA 2K League Season will consist of 16 regular-season contests and three tournaments, THE TIPOFF, THE TURN and THE TICKET, in which teams will compete for banners that link together to form THE BANNER CHAIN powered by AT&T. Each of the 21 teams will have three bye weeks during the season along with a league-wide bye week from July 3-5.

The NBA 2K League, a professional esports league co-founded by the NBA and Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO), launched in 2018 and features the best NBA 2K players in the world. Each of the league’s 21 teams features six players who compete as unique characters in 5-on-5 play against the other teams in a mix of regular-season games, tournaments and playoffs.
