Warriors Gaming Squad Announces 2024 Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO – Warriors Gaming Squad (WGS), the NBA 2K League affiliate team of the Golden State Warriors, will tip off the 2024 season with virtual gameplay on Wednesday, February 28, against Jazz Gaming as part of THE SLAM OPEN 3v3 Tournament. WGS will tip off 5v5 gameplay on Wednesday, May 8, against Blazer5 Gaming as part of THE TIPOFF 5v5 Tournament. This year, Warriors Gaming Squad will reside in San Francisco and will compete virtually against teams throughout the country during the regular season. Throughout the season, games will be simulcast live on the NBA 2K League’s Twitch and YouTube channels.

Over the course of the 14-week season, each team is scheduled to play 20 total regular season 3v3 and 5v5 games. The four-week 3v3 season will include eight regular season matches, each being a best-of-five series, beginning with THE SLAM OPEN Tournament and concluding with THE SWITCH OPEN Tournament. The 5v5 season will include 12 regular season games, beginning with THE TIPOFF Tournament and ending with THE TURN Tournament. The 25 NBA 2K League teams are split into two conferences, the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference, with WGS as one of 12 teams in the Western Conference. Additional information on the 2024 NBA 2K League season can be found HERE.

The 2024 Warriors Gaming Squad team returned all five players from the 2023 championship roster. This includes point guard Charlie “CB13” Bostwick, center Jaden “Nay” Bhopal, shooting guard Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser, forward Kenneth “Kenny Got Work” Hailey, and forward Jeremy “Seese” Seese. Additionally, Warriors Gaming Squad hired Jordan “Len” Ross as the new head coach upon the departure of Mike Newton. Ross enters his fifth season as an NBA 2K League head coach after serving as the Gen. G Tigers’ coach for four seasons.

Warriors Gaming Squad is one of 25 teams in the NBA 2K League and one of 22 teams owned by NBA franchises. The team has made the playoffs every year since 2019 and made four conference finals before winning the franchise’s first NBA 2K League Championship in 2023.
