Warriors Gaming Squad Clinches Playoff Berth

SAN FRANCISCO – Warriors Gaming Squad (WGS), the NBA 2K League affiliate team of the Golden State Warriors, clinched a playoff berth with tonight’s series win against T-Wolves Gaming. This marks WGS’s second-straight NBA 2K League Playoff appearance.

Warriors Gaming Squad is the fourth team in the NBA 2K League to clinch a playoff spot this season. The team’s 11-3 record ranks fourth in the league after starting the season with a franchise-best 6-0 mark. Veteran point guard Charlie “CB13” Bostwick leads the team in points (31.3) and assists (8.1) while center Malik “Slaughter” Leisinger is averaging a double-double (11.7 points, 14.4 rebounds).

Founded in 2017, Warriors Gaming Squad is the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, one of 23 teams who compete in the league. During the 2019 season, the team made history as the first in league history to win multiple tournaments in the same season.
