Warriors Gaming Squad Wins 2024 NBA 2K League 5v5 Championship

SAN FRANCISCO – Warriors Gaming Squad (WGS), the NBA 2K League affiliate team of the Golden State Warriors, has won the 2024 NBA 2K League Championship following tonight’s 3-0 series win against Celtics Crossover Gaming. With the win, WGS becomes the first franchise in league history to win multiple tournaments (THE TURN and THE TIPOFF) and the NBA 2K League Championship in the same season and the second franchise in league history to repeat as champions (Wizards District Gaming, 2020 and 2021).

Charlie “CB13” Bostwick was named NBA 2K League Finals MVP after averaging 22.3 points, 10.3 assists, and shooting 61% from the three-point line in today’s series matchup. Earlier this week, Bostwick was named the 2024 NBA 2K League MVP, becoming the first player from Warriors Gaming Squad to win league MVP honors. He was also named MVP of THE TURN and THE TIPOFF tournaments earlier in the season.
Led by head coach Jordan “Len” Ross, Warriors Gaming Squad finished the 2024 NBA 2K League season with a regular season record of 29 -3 in 5v5 play and 31-35 in 3v3 play. En route to the title, WGS defeated Bucks Gaming 2-0 in the quarterfinals and claimed a 2-0 victory over Pistons GT in the Western Conference Finals of the playoffs.
The NBA 2K League announced today that Bostwick, Jeremy “Seese” Seese, and Jaden “Nay” Bhopal were named to the 2024 All NBA 2K League First Team. Additionally, Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser and Seese were named to the 2024 All NBA 2K League Defensive Team. This is the second time Seese has won each of these awards, winning both First Team and Defensive Team awards for the first time in 2023.
Warriors Gaming Squad is one of 25 teams in the NBA 2K League and one of 22 teams owned by an NBA franchise. The team has made the playoffs every year since 2019 and made four conference finals before winning the franchise’s first NBA 2K League Championship in 2023.
