Warriors Gaming Squad Wins 2024 NBA 2K League THE TURN Tournament

SAN FRANCISCO – Warriors Gaming Squad (WGS), the NBA 2K League affiliate team of the Golden State Warriors, won THE TURN Tournament on Saturday, June 15, following a 2-0 series sweep against Celtics Crossover Gaming. Warriors Gaming Squad, which also won THE TIPOFF in May, is the third team in 2K League history to win multiple banners in one season—a feat Warriors Gaming Squad was the first team ever to accomplish in 2019 (THE TURN and THE TICKET).

Point guard Charlie “CB13” Bostwick was named THE TURN MVP after averaging 21.9 points and 9.8 assists per game and shooting 60% from the 3-point line throughout the tournament. Bostwick is the second player in NBA 2K League history to be named MVP of both THE TIPOFF and THE TURN, following teammate Kenneth “Kenny Got Work” Hailey, who did so with Raptors Uprising GC in 2020. Bostwick has also been named a finalist for the 2024 NBA 2K League MVP Award which will be announced on June 26.

Led by head coach Jordan “Len” Ross, Warriors Gaming Squad finished the 2024 NBA 2K League THE TURN Tournament with a record of 5-1 in group play and an overall 11-2 record. En route to the finals, WGS defeated T-Wolves Gaming 2-1 in the quarterfinals and claimed a 2-0 victory over Pistons GT in the semifinals of the tournament. Warriors Gaming Squad is the first seed in the Western Conference heading into the playoffs, with bracket play beginning on June 26.

Warriors Gaming Squad is one of 25 teams in the NBA 2K League and one of 22 teams owned by NBA franchises. The team has made the playoffs every year since 2019 and made four conference finals before winning the franchise’s first NBA 2K League Championship in 2023.
